Centering Prayer is a response to the invitation “Be still and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10) It is a way to give our consent to the presence and transforming grace of the Divine Dwelling in silence beyond thoughts, words and emotions.

This introduction will include a brief overview of the contemplative tradition, the method of Centering Prayer and how to let go of thoughts and the effects of a deepening relationship with God in our daily lives. Registration fee is $30. This includes the book by Fr. Thomas Keating: Open Mind, Open Heart.

Registration is due one week before the workshop.
