This retreat is co-sponsored by Nebraska Contemplative Outreach and Contemplative Outreach-Kansas City.
Participants are recommended to have an established Centering Prayer practice and have attended a weekend silent retreat before committing to a silent retreat of this duration. You may also consider reading The Cloud of Unknowing in preparation for your time at the retreat.
Our retreat begins Saturday, Sept. 19th at 6:15 with dinner. Room check-in is after 4pm but you are welcome to come anytime that day to familiarize yourself with the center. We will conclude Saturday, Sept. 26th after the noon meal.
Private room, all meals and programing are included. Group centering prayer each day as well as time for silent reflection and solitude. Spiritual direction check-ins will also be offered during our time together.
Saint Benedict Center is a very easy environment to follow all Corona Virus protical. (Face masks and social distancing in all public areas.)
